Pointe du Raz

The only site designated a “Grand Site de France” in Brittany, the jagged rocky headland of the Pointe du Raz will take your breath away.
A rendezvous at the end of the earth looking out to the Isle de Sein, battered by the winds and spray from the Iroise sea, the Pointe du Raz is Brittany’s masterpiece. Visit this breathtaking landscape on your own or with a guide, depending on your interest: big thrills at the ends of the earth (not for the faint-hearted or anyone who is afraid of heights), discover of the flora, fauna and maritime heritage. Specially for children is the ‘sentier des lutins’ (Elves’ Trail), and Trépassés bay (Bay of the Dead!). At the discovery centre, you’ll find information on marked trails across the heath, exhibitions, a film on the restoration of the site, and you can also take the shuttle powered by natural gas to the signal station.

About 35 minutes from the campsite.
